I've so many but they are from Finnish writers and don't help you much..
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas is great! And Three Musketeers also. Paulo Coelho's books are interesting. Nick Hornby is great author if you like black humour...
L.M. Montgomery has written great girl books, like Anne of Green Gables and Emily of New Moon sagas. I loved them when I was younger and I still love to read them. My mom told me about those books, she had read them too when she was young.
Now I'm reading a fantasy book by Robert Jordan. It belongs to saga called The Wheel of Time. It's great just because it has over 25 books so it's gonna take a while after I can finish it. I have 9th book going now.

I'm reading 'Men who hate women' atm. It's written by a Swedish author, but he died right after writing the saga -there are three books, I have part 1 myself. It's a bit complicated, but great (: the main character's called Mikael, and automaticly I linked it to Mikel, so now I need to remnd me it's MikAel, instead of MikEl xD
