“The place where you were is where the nearest counselor of the king lives. I myself don’t think much of him. I believe he is malicious but people like Lady Francesca believes he is a very special person. Well, the place you were, the entrance there is forbidden to everyone…”
“And what were you doing there?” Michael asked.
“I just…I am the closest maid to the Queen and so the King sent me to deliver a message to Don Ignacio.”
“I do not like that” Antonio said.
“Me neither” Michael agreed.
“Anyway, I have to go, I have left the Queen alone for too much time. See you at home brother. Nice to meet you all. Goodbye” Maria said and left for the palace.
After that they moved towards the gate to leave. They had started feeling weird for spending their whole day here from now on. Besides it wasn’t the most pleasant place even for a palace.
“Antonio, may I ask if you do not mind, where do you know my sister from?” Michael asked thoughtfully.
“I met her one day at a bazaar. My mother had sent me to buy something and she accidentally fell on me.”
~I don’t think it was accidentally~ Michael thought indignant by his sister’s doings.
“Great, thank you” Michael said. “I have to go now to tell my mother” and moved to his house.
“Antonio…?” Esteban said when they were alone.
“Yes…?”
“Do you like Maria? Because if you like her it’s ok, but if you didn’t it would be great, and if you…do you?”
“You do, don’t you?” Antonio said and looked at his friend with a smile showing up at his lips.
“Yes, basically, I don’t know her well, but she seems a good girl, and she is pretty”
“Yes, she is both of that Esteban, I don’t like her, she’s not my type, she’s all yours if she wants you too”
“Thank you” Esteban said. He was feeling better now; he didn’t want to have a misunderstanding with his friend.
“If you need any advice...” Antonio said.
“I will come to you at once. You are the expert at these things” Esteban said laughing.
They had arrived home. They said goodbye and went in. They said the news to their families and went to bed. A very difficult day would rise tomorrow. Exactly like each and every other of their lives.

Part 6
The sun was rising in the streets of Madrid and the roosters were just beginning to trill. But Javier didn’t wake up, because simply, he never fell asleep. He was so anxious that he couldn’t believe that from tomorrow on he would be protecting the King. But that tomorrow came, and Javier had to make a decision of what he was going to do. He got up, got dressed and started walking slowly to the place where he would meet the others. When he arrived, nobody was there. He waited and five minutes later, Antonio arrived.
“Good morning” Antonio said and patted him on the back.
“Morning” Javier said.
“What’s wrong? You look pale as a vampire”
“It’s just that… I was thinking the whole night -because I couldn’t fall asleep- what we are going to do. I don’t like the idea so much anymore” Javier said and put his head on his knees starring at the ground.
“Calm down, it’s nothing special, we’ll just go and look after a door so that no one gets in.” Antonio said to calm down his friend even though he knew it would be so easy.
In the meantime, Esteban and Michael came and so they all headed to the palace. There they met Maria.
“Good morning boys” Maria said.
“Good Morning” everyone said apart from Javier.
“What’s going on Javier?” Mari asked him as if she knew him from the old times.
“Nothing, he’s just anxious and he doesn’t know what to do!” Michael said, “Shall we?”
“Of course” Maria said and they all together left.
They started from the kitchen. It was huge, bigger than all the houses of all the boys put together. They moved to the Queen’s apartment, which was a separate building, attached to the main palace. There, as the boys learned lived all the ladies of the palace. Antonio was especially interested in this section of the palace. Then, they moved to the place they kept the guns. It was a wooden cottage outside and far away from the palace. There the boys took their swords. It was a heaven for Michael who was always passionate about swords and things that could blow up anything. They continued to the entirely huge libraries, which enchanted Esteban so much, that even he wasn’t allowed to touch anything, he made them stay there for a whole hour. And finally they ended up to the back gardens. There, a surprise waited for Javier. He was madly in love with gardening and what he saw made him forget all his worries. The garden was truly amazing.

I'm so glad you liked it girls, as Olympia said in the greek part of the story, I just tried to make you understand their character and how they look like on the inside without telling it straightly!!! Wink
